Luke AFB, AZ; 20 Jan 09

Having joined Karl, Shaggy and Glenn for the start of their Arizona adventure, the first port of call for us was Luke AFB. The airfield was very busy, with aircraft already recovering from missions at 0830, when we arrived. We were somewhat restricted as to where we could take pictures, and indeed the day was curtailed early after an intervention from the Security Police, who were not happy with us taking photos of the aircraft.

We were able to shoot some departing F-16s from two of the Luke-based training units, the 61st FS (Top Dogs) and the 309th FS (Wild Ducks).
