Arctic Circle Air, Fairbanks, AK

Located adjacent to Brooks Fuel's facility at Fairbanks is the smaller operator Arctic Circle Air. They carry out small scale freight charters, using a variety of aircraft, including a modern classic in its own right, the Shorts 330! Once commonplace in UK and European skies, "Sheds" are now much dwindled in numbers, so they are something of a rarity and a welcome sight. We were able to photograph inside one of the 330s as it was loaded for the short flight to Anchorage, then we watched as it was started up and departed.
